Introduction

The Schema Performance Analytics dashboard is interactive with several parameters and filter capabilities. SPA offers 2 dashboards:

1. Aggregate Level Dashboard: This dashboard offers a summary of performance metrics and offers comparison between to time periods.
2. Page Level Reports Dashboard: This dashboard offers more in-depth insights based on Page, URLs, groups of URLs, Keywords and Queries, plus time period comparisons and dynamic filters.

This article focuses on the Page Level Reports Dashboard.

There are 5 tabs on the dashboard as shown in the image below.

  1. Summary Statistics
  2. All URLs Performance
  3. URLs with Schema App markup
  4. URLs without Schema App markup
  5. Time Periods Comparison

1. Summary Statistics

The summary statistics is an overview of Total URLs, URLs achieving Rich Results and the number of URLs that contribute to search appearances. It is a high level summary that provides a snapshot of metrics. It is anticipated that this tab will lead to questions that will likely be answered in subsequent tabs.

2. All URLs Performance

This tab shows the data metrics of all URLs in the project in terms of clicks, impressions and CTR. List of specific URLs and corresponding data, plus list of queries and keywords and corresponding data.
In this tab, it is possible to filter out:

- A specific URL.

- Group of URLs (enabling reporting on departments and/or Line of Business),

- Specific pattern.

- Search appearances etc.  in 'Controls' at the top of page.

3. URLS with Schema App markup

This tab gives insight to Schema app markup coverage, you can see list of URLs on which Schema App has created markup, and how these URLs have performed in terms of clicks, impressions and CTR. List of specific URLs and corresponding data, plus list of queries and keywords and corresponding data.
In this tab, it is also possible to filter out:

- Group of URLs (enabling reporting on departments and/or Line of Business),

- Specific pattern or patterns,

- Search appearances etc.  in 'Controls' at the top of page.

4. URLs without Schema App markup

This tab gives insight to URLs without Schema App markup. This is an opportunity to expand Schema coverage on the site and for the project. You will be able to see the list of URLs in the category, their data plus list of queries and keywords and corresponding data.
In this tab, it is also possible to filter out:

- A specific URL

- Group of URLs (enabling reporting on departments and/or Line of Business),

- Specific pattern,

- Search appearances etc.  in 'Controls' at the top of page.

5. Time Periods Comparison

This tab offers information about overall site performance across provided / inputted time periods. Users will be able to see URLs by time periods, and how they have performed across the time periods, coupled with insights on % change.

Table shows click, impressions, CTRs and the % difference between the time periods being considered. Tab also provides this comparison for Schema App URLs and Non-schema App URLs, Queries and Keywords' performance.

Note: Data may not exactly match for both performance dashboards in SPA because the data matching process differs. Aggregate data dashboard calculates and summarizes overall site data, while Page level calculates more detailed information which varies based on a number of factors such as the date the URL was accessed, the date schema was added to the site etc. Please contact a CSM for more information.
