Page Level Reports - Dashboard Description

Modified on Mon, 30 Sep at 1:56 PM

Schema Performance Analytics is an interactive reporting and analytics tool created and maintained by Schema App. SPA enables users to monitor and analyze data about how schema markup impacts performance in Google Search.

The Page Level Report dashboard shows in-depth URL by URL data about clicks, impressions, CTR, and specific search features. It is well suited for detailed analysis of the impact of schema markup on specific URLs or groups of URLS. Advanced schema markup strategies often involve hypothesis testing and experiments. Page Level SPA lets users easily hone in on metrics for relevant groups of URLs.

From the moment you integrate, Page Level Performance Analytics captures 6 months of historical data. SPA updates daily and data will always be 3 days behind the current date to ensure only complete datasets are imported from GSC.

Note: SPA totals only reflect URLs that had one or more impression in Google Search for a given time period. Schema App may have deployed to other URLs during this same time period but if they weren't shown in Google Search, they will not be reflected in this report. Consider using Highlighter Page Count or the Analyzer to see a full list of URLs Schema App deploys to.

Note: Comparisons between the Page Level SPA and Aggregate SPA may show different values as the data matching processes vary. If you have questions about these differences, feel welcome to contact your CSM for more information.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Overview Tab

Detailed Support DocumentOverview Tab - Page Level Schema Performance Analytics

The overview tab is a high level review of Schema App coverage and impact on Search Performance. The controls available for the Overview tab include:

  • Date Range
  • Search Type
  • URLs Containing/Excluding
  • Exact Match/Exclusion Match
  • Wildcard Match/Exclusion Wildcard

Note: For a given time period, a URL might be counted in both the URLs with Schema App markup and Non-Schema App URLs, if markup was added or removed partway through the time period. This is why the Schema App and Non-Schema App values might sum to more than the Total URLs/Clicks/Impressions, etc.

The overview tab is organized into two categories:

  1. Total no. of URLs
The total number of URLs captured in the performance report with a breakdown of how many of those URLs did or did not receive markup from were targeted by Schema App.
  2. Search Features (e.g. FAQ, How-to, Q&A, etc.)
The total number of URLs that achieved a distinct rich result appearance corresponding to GSC's Search Appearance filter. Also provides a breakdown of whether these URLs targeted by Schema App or not.

In this example, we can observe that Schema App is deploying to 17% of the total URLs shown in Google Search. However, 95.7% of the Search Features can be attributed to URLs with markup from Schema App.
