Improved Entity Reporting in SPA Page-Level Reports
Not sure how to report on the impact of Entity Linking? We've introduced two new features to the SPA Page-Level Reports to help.
1. A Minimum Impressions filter has been added to the Time Period Comparisons tab in SPA Page-Level Reports. By setting this value to 1, it will filter out all reporting on URLs with 0 impressions in both Previous and Current time periods. This excludes performance data from any URLs deprecated before the "Current Time Period" or newly authored since the "Previous Time period". This allows you to do an apples-to-apples comparison of URLs with at least one impression in both time periods.
2. A Totals row has been added to all query tables in SPA Page-Level Reports. This row calculates the clicks, impressions and average CTR for queries even when filters are applied making it much easier to report on the impact of External Entity Linking for branded and non-branded queries.
In the screenshot below, I've filtered for queries containing "Schema" and excluding "App" in order to exclude branded queries which we assume contain "Schema App". The Time Period Comparisons tab shows how clicks, impressions and CTR compare over both periods.
For more information see our How To: Report on External Entity Linking documentation.
Session Expiry
Schema App now logs users out after 2 hours by default. However this can be configured to decrease the time to a limit of up to 15 minutes.
