Modified on Thu, 9 May at 9:44 AM

Schema Performance Analytics requires a valid authorization from Google Search Console (GSC) in order to process your analytics. Sometimes, the token needs to be re-authorized, for example, if user roles have changed.

This document describes how to re-authenticate a Google Search Console token in Schema Performance analytics.

Resources Required

  • Access to the Schema Performance Analytics tool
  • Owner-level permissions for the GSC account
  • URL-prefix property in Google Search Console

Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Schema Performance Analytics

  • Log into your Schema App account
  • Select the Active Project that requires re-authentication
  • Navigate to Reporting > Performance Analytics
  • Select either Go to Aggregate Reports or Go to Page Level Reports

Step 2: Revoke Token

  • A yellow warning banner will appear above the selected reports
  • Click the Revoke Token button

Step 3: Reauthenticate

  • The warning banner will be replaced with a notification that the token was successfully removed
  • To re-authenticate, click Sign in with Google

Note: Re-authentication requires owner-level permissions for the associated Google Search Console account.

Step 4: Complete account set up

If you require any assistance with the reauthentication process, please contact your CSM directly, or send an email to [email protected].
