This article describes how to set up Schema Performance Analytics for your project.
Step 1: Speak to your CSM about enabling SPA for your project.
Once all contractual obligations are met with the sales team, your CSM is able to make the SPA accessible to your project.
Step 2: Setting Up SPA
Once you log into your account. Click Reporting and then click “Performance Analytics”.
You’ll want to ensure you have:
Access to Google Search Console (GSC) account.
A good list of branded keywords to input in settings.
On SPA page, follow the wizard to set up Performance Analytics
Step 3: Add Branded Keywords
A branded keyword, or a branded search, is any query via a search engine that includes the name of your company, business or brand, such as 'Go Up'. This can include other words too, like 'Go Up agency' or 'London Go Up'. Fundamentally a branded search includes your brand name as part of it.
You can add as many brand words as you require. And don’t worry you can add / edit the branded keywords in SPA settings later.
Step 4: Authenticate with Google
For this step, you will require access to a Google Search Console account.
Click ‘Authenticate with Google’ to get started. This takes you to the GSC login page, you will click ‘Allow’ to grant required access and will be redirected back to Schema App.
Once done, you will see the websites that have been integrated on GSC.
Step 5: Register Property
This is an easy straightforward step.
Confirm the details on the screen and click the button ‘Register Property”. Once Done, you will see a message “We are now processing the data from google and preparing your first report. Please return to this page later to access your new analytics dashboard”.
All Done.
If you have any issue during this process, please contact support at support@schemaapp.com or contact your CSM, they will be willing to help!
