What is “Pages without Schema App Markup” in the page categories filter?

Schema Performance Analytics is an interactive reporting and analytics tool created and maintained by Schema App. Schema Performance Analytics enables users to monitor, analyze, and generate data about how schema markup is impacting a website’s performance in Google Search.

SPA is particularly useful for grouping URLs, based on particular qualities. One grouping is "Pages without Schema App Markup".  This metric reports on URLs that did not receive markup from Schema App for at least one day during a selected time period.

Note: This report only looks at markup coming from Schema App. It does not take into account pages that have markup from other sources.

There are URLs that should be receiving markup in the list of Pages without Schema App markup? Why?

Great question! A URL is included in this list for any days over the chosen time period where the URL was not recorded as receiving markup from Schema App. There can be a few causes for this:

  1. We only started deploying to this URL mid-way through the reporting period
  2. The script that communicates with our API endpoints to notify that markup was successfully deployed was not functional for one of the following reasons:
    1. Site speed was too slow
    2. Schema App's API endpoints were not whitelisted

A URL can exist in both categories over a given period of time. For a more detailed look, you can review the day by day results for a particular URL. This will give you more insights into the potential root cause and possible actions you can take to resolve the issue if needed.
