How to: Set Up Squarespace for Schema App

Squarespace automatically generates structured data for the following types:

• Blog post
• Event
• Local business
• Organization
• Product
• Website

It's not possible to edit or remove this data. However additional custom markup can be applied using Schema App's tools.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Step 1: Copy Required Scripts
• Step 2: Navigate to Squarespace and add the scripts

Step 1: Copy Required Scripts

1.1. Log into your Schema App account. Click the dropdown on your selected project and confirm that:

        1. You've added a website URL

        2. The deployment type has been set to Squarespace

1.2. From within your project's Deployment Settings, copy the JavaScript tags to your clipboard. You'll need them soon.  

Step 2: Navigate to Squarespace and add the scripts

2.1 Navigate to your Squarespace site

2.2 Open the Code Injection panel.

2.3 Paste the JavaScript tags from Schema App into the Code Injection field for the header.

2.4 After adding your code, click Save. Any markup authored with the Schema App Editor or Schema App Highlighter will now deploy.
