How To: Install Schema App Total Schema Markup in your Shopify store

Get started installing the Schema App Total Schema Markup in your Shopify store with these 4 easy steps.

*Make sure that you are logged into the owner’s account of your Shopify Store.

Step 1:

Navigate to the Schema App Total Schema Markup page in the Shopify App Store.

Click Install app

Step 2:

Log and select your Shopify Store.

If you are logged-in already, select it from the list of stores.

For example, for the LA Kings Shopify Store the website address is: https://la-kings.myshopify.com/

Troubleshooting

If you encounter an Unauthorized Access screen at this stage, it is because only the owner of the Shopify Store has the authorization to complete the installation. Make sure that you are using the Shopify Store owner's account when going through this process.

Step 3:

Install the Schema App for Shopify App.

Once you select your store, you should be directed to the following screen:

The Schema App Shopify App will ask you to confirm your installation.

Click Install.

Step 4:

Activate the App Embed Block.

Once you've installed the app, you will be directed to the Home screen. Schema App will begin generating your store's custom schema markup in the background. However, to deploy this markup on your store's pages, you must activate the App Embed Block.

Click "Preview in Theme" to be taken directly to the Theme editor to enable the App Embed Block. Detailed instructions on how to activate this block can be found here: How To: Activate Schema App's Shopify App Embed Block in your store's Theme

Congratulations!

Schema App Total Schema Markup should now be installed, and the App Embed Block will deploy your markup to your pages as soon as Schema App generates your custom schema markup. No further configuration is required.
