Google Merchant Center

Google Merchant Center is an online dashboard where you can manage your shop and product appearance and make it available to shoppers across Google. You can upload and maintain product information and your online listings where needed, including pictures and pricing that can be displayed in Google Shopping searches. Google Merchant Center also integrates with other Google services like Google Business Profile, allowing you to reach potential customers at different stages of their buyer journey.

Schema App's Google Merchant Center Integration is offered as part of our End-to-End Solution. 

This integration is a great option if you:

• already have Merchant Center setup
• have many product models
• want a quick way to get robust Schema Markup

Technical Design

Once you've connected Google Merchant Center with your Schema App Account, Schema App will start processing and generating Schema Markup JSON-LD from your Products. Using one of our deployment methods, you'll then receive the markup on your pages to support web crawlers.

Note: Once you've integrated with Google Merchant Center, your Schema Markup will first deploy the next day 8am UTC. Any content changes that impact your Schema Markup will be updated daily at 8am UTC.

Schema Markup Ouput

Our Google Merchant Center Integration provides Schema Markup from the Product information provided in Merchant Center. This includes properties required for Product and Merchant Center Rich Results such as:

• name
• description
• url
• image
• offers ~ Offer ~ price
• and more!

Markup is also provided for product variants where each variant is treated as a separate Offer. An AggregateOffer is also created and given a lowPrice in order for Product rich results to show a "starting from" price in order to accomodate for different prices.
