SDTT shows missing fields for linked data items

Modified on Wed, 25 Mar 2020 at 01:53 PM

This is likely the result of Schema App not showing markup three “hops” from the original data item. If it is more than two hops, we may not pull in all the fields for that particular data item. If you are linking items, for which the URI is a different page on the website this is when this truncation will occur.

If you create the related data item and make the URI the same as the main page and add #anchor at the end, then all the markup will appear, with no truncation.

For example, if you are doing local business schema markup, and want to include all the details about sub-organizations (perhaps they don’t have their own page). The URI for the business would be https://www.business.com, the URI for the Sub-organization would be https://www.business.com/#location1. Now Schema App will deploy all the markup on www.business.com.
