I am getting an error for my telephone markup.

Make sure your phone numbers have a country code, for example in North America it would be +1. You may also get an error that says you have duplicate schema markup for telephone if you have it on the data item for the Organization or Local Business and in the contact point. We recommend you remove the markup from the organization and just leave it in the contact point.
